Warranty Policy

Bare Furniture Co. stands behind the manufacturers warranty for the lines we carry. The manufacturers warranty begins when merchandise is received by Bare Furniture Co., so it is beneficial to accept furniture for pickup or delivery at your earliest convenience. OTHERWISE, THERE ARE NO WARRANTIES EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO, IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND ALL SUCH WARRANTIES ARE EXPRESSLY AND SPECIFICALLY DISCLAIMED. BARE FURNITURE CO. SHALL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, SPECIAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES.

Customer Pickup

If you choose to pick up your merchandise, Bare Furniture Co. will need 24 hours advance notice to stage and inspect your order. It is in the customers best interest to bring proper equipment to secure items in your vechile, or trailer. All items must be paid for in the full amount before items are to be released to the customer. Any damage or defects are the responsibility of the customer after Bare Furniture Co. releases the merchandise.

Delivery and Set-Up

For a nominal fee Bare Furniture Co. will deliver and set up any of the items purchased from Bare Furniture Co. Due to liability issues our delivery personnel will not move furnishings other than the items sold by Bare Furniture Co. Delivery personnel will not install televisions, electronics, appliances, or any electronic devices other than those items that are sold by Bare Furniture Co. (i.e., power lift chairs, power recliners, lamps, clocks, ect). Due to liability restrictions, delivery personnel will not pick up any used furniture. Any exceptions to this must be arranged prior to your new items being delivered and presented in writing.

Haul Aaway and Disposal

Bare Furniture Co. provides haul away service for the items we are replacing. For a nominal fee, Bare Furniture Co will haul away and dispose or donate any items we are replacing with new goods purchased at Bare Furniture Co. We are not a for hire haul away service and will not haul away any items other than the items being replaced. We reserve the right of refusal for hauling away any items, for any reason.


Bare Furniture Co. is factory-authorized to service only the merchandise we sell. We offer service on manufacturer’s defects for households within our service area. We will repair the item(s) or follow the manufacturer's recommended process to handle any service issue as they deem necessary. Damage from normal or excessive use, such as scratches, tears, wear, color-fastness and/or other types are typically not covered. Clearance item purchases, discounted floor samples, purchases delivered by carriers other than our own trucks and items to be used commercially are excluded from this service option.

When a service is requested, the manufacture requires a copy of the purchase receipt, a photograph of the manufacturers tag on the item, as well as photographs of the issue in question. The customer is required to provide these items to Bare Furniture Co. in order to submit a service claim to the manufacturer. If you require a technician to assist you in diagnosing the issue, the item can be brought to the store for inspection and we will inspect and photograph the item for you. If a technician is needed in the home, a service trip charge will be assessed for the visit. Items will not be serviced in the home. Any items that require repair are required to be returned to the store for service. If the itmes require re-delivery there will be a charge.


Returns will not be aurhourized for special order items. Items purchased from stock can be returned in like new condition within 48 hours. We reserve the right to refuse any return item for any reason. Items that have been damaged in home, damaged by the customer in transit, or show signs of misuse, items that have stains, soiling, or that have been in contact with animals or smoke will be refused. All returned items must be pre-authorized before they are returned to the store. Restocking fees may apply on all returns.

Special Orders

All special orderer items are non-cancelable and non-returnable. These items require a 30% non-refundable deposit, because these items are selected and ordered by your request. If for any reason a special order item is refused a 30% restocking fee will apply. Bare Furniture Co. does not warrant the purchasers contentment with his/her selection on items special ordered, however we do uphold that the items will be delivered in a conditon that meets the standards set by the manufacturer. Special ordered items that are not recieved by the customer within 6 months will be subject to aditional storage fees of $10 per-item, per-month.

Mattress/ Bedding Policy

Bare Furniture Co. has a no return policy on all mattresses and bedding items. The mattress/bedding manufacturers are responsible for upholding the warranty and service on all items. As your representative we will contact the the manufacturer on your behalf, and assist in the scheduling service requests. The manufacturers are responsible for authorizing any service or repairs as needed. Advanced sleep research has shown it may take several weeks for our bodies to adjust to the proper support of a new mattress. Bare Furniture Co. recommends you take the time to select the best mattress for your needs and allow your body time to adjust to your new sleep surface.

Items Sold As-Is

All items purchased from clearance, floor model mattress, or otherwise marked items are considered sold as-is. These items are not covered by manufacturer's, or any other warranty. Once these items are released from Bare Furniture Co. they are ineligible for return. Customers are responsible for fully inspecting these items before purchase.


Layaway is available for some in-stock items. Items purchased through lay away will be stored free of charge for the first 6 months. An aditional fee of $10 per-item, per-month will be incured after the first 6 months. We require monthly regular payments on items under layaway. If a regular monthly payment is not made, you will be contacted and have 30 days to pay the balence of the item on layaway. If the balence is not paid after the 30 day grace the layaway will be canceled. If items under layaway are canceled the items will be returned to stock and the purchaser will be refunded minus a fee of 20% or $500 wichever is smaller in accordance to NC State Law Senate BIll 340. Storage fees will not be refunded.
